HOLBORN maintenance standstill now as a video

Safely and reliably completing hundreds of thousands of work orders within an extremely short time, in an extremely small space, with 2000 additional workers, and masses of large and small devices, tools, and materials, all the while under time and cost pressure: that's what standstill involves.

Taking equipment apart, inspecting, cleaning or replacing it and then reassembling it all. We conduct this "Refinery TÜV inspection" every five years – so again this year.

We have, for the first time, been able to capture this mega project on camera and record impressive images of the various undertakings and trades. The result is a seven-minute video giving an impression of the scale of 2018 maintenance standstill and the efforts, many years of experience and know-how required to bring this project to a successful conclusion.

An abridged web version of the video is available on our homepage.
